When we test our physical limits, we are stronger than we think.
Our minds will quit long before our bodies are ready to stop.
It takes that extra push, going that extra mile and that one last effort to dig deep within yourself to finish what you started.
A mistake many of us make isn't eating too much or lack of physical exercise, it is giving up on ourselves way to soon. We throw in the towel and walk away thinking we have failed.
Remember, our mind and our bodies begin to change the minute we start our journey. We won't see changes over night, but consistency and forming good habits will gain momentum and strength over time.
Why is it that we "fall of the wagon" when we step off plan for a week or two? We need to stop giving up! Who cares if we need to restart? I have yet to meet a person who reached their goal without hitting some major road blocks in between!
This past weekend, friends and I ran a half marathon trail run in Winter State Park. I struggled on those rocks, muddy terrain and it was hard to breathe as we climbed to very some very uncomfortable elevations. I wanted to quit! But……You don't just quit! You never EVER quit!! If you do, get up shake it off and get moving again! You are worth reaching the finish line. Every intended destination you set out to reach, move forward like a champ and don't look back!
