Running and boredom? "How can you possibly get bored during a run" some may ask. Well this is a very common experience, especially during the longer runs and sometimes you are spending more than an hour or two in the same motion. Our minds tend to tell us to stop and we get bored with the same repetitive motion.
Boredom is a big barrier to running for many people. Doing the same routes day in and day out will drive even the most eager runners mad. Switch up your routine on a regular basis. Run places you've never run before and change the terrain. It's amazing how not knowing where you are going can freshen things up and keep you looking forward to each hill and turn.
