Let yourself be silently drawn by the pull of what you really love. It will never lead you astray.
In order to get fit and healthy, you must give away one very important thing, YOUR EXCUSES! I have said this 100 times in the past, eventually, it will sink in. 🙂
Health and fitness is not just about what you're eating and how much you are exercising, it is also what you are thinking, and saying. We talk ourselves out of working out, we tell ourselves the healthy meal won't taste as good as the not so healthy meal and we stay in a place we no longer want to be.
In order to reach your goals, you must change your thoughts.
Think about this: would you rather workout and be uncomfortable for a few minutes, or be uncomfortable all day every day?
Running used to be the most uncomfortable activity for me. I dreaded it, until one day a grew to love it! It may not be running that motivates you, but find something that gets you up and moving right now.
Add a few small workouts into your week, add one healthy meal a day and build from here.
Eventually, the workouts become a part of your daily routine. The healthy meals give you more energy and you are moving more and doing more. These important components add up.
How can you expect to see change if you don't make one? You won't succeed if you only put in the work on the days you feel like it.
It comes down to this: how bad do you want it? If you can't stop thinking about it, this is a sign it is time to take action.
Don't quit when the results don't happen overnight! You didn't gain unwanted pounds in one week, why do you think you will lose all of it in one week, two weeks or a month? Results happen over time, not overnight. Work hard, be consistent and learn to be patient.
Remember this, you are stronger than your excuses. Once you see results, keep going, and don't stop, it will soon be something you look forward to every day!
Believe you can and you will!
